Shipping policy

All orders are subject to the processing time displayed on the banner. Processing time is an estimate, and will be updated as accurately as possible.

Shipping rates are as below, and are a flat fee:

Shipping Information for UK & EU Customers (effective 9/20/2025)

As Sucrerie continues to grow, I am at the point where I must comply with VAT requirements for customers in the UK and EU. However, as a small business, I currently do not have the infrastructure to collect VAT at checkout.

To comply with local VAT regulations, all orders shipped to the UK and EU must now meet minimum order value thresholds that allows VAT to be charged at the time of delivery, rather than at the point of sale.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Your order total (excluding shipping) must exceed the VAT threshold in your country (£135 in the UK or €150 in the EU).
    • Orders that do not meet this total will be be cancelled.
    • Alternatively, I am happy to hold/combine orders until they have met the minimum, just send me an email after you place your order!
  • VAT, customs duties, and any applicable handling fees will be charged upon delivery, and collected by your local postal service or courier.
  • You, the customer, are responsible for paying these charges in order to receive your package. Sucrerie will not be held responsible for items confiscated, destroyed or returned by customs due to refusal or non-payment of fees.

For extra peace of mind, shipping insurance can be purchased for an additional $2 (domestic)/$5 (international) per order and is highly recommended as it does protect against lost, damaged and/or stolen packages. 

Tracking information will be automatically emailed to you. Please allow up to 24-48 hours for tracking to update as USPS does not always perform a first scan.

I do my very best to make sure your order gets to you quickly and safely! Once your package has been handed over to the carrier, it’s officially on its way to the shipping address provided at checkout. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address entered at checkout is correct and secure for delivery. Once a package has been confirmed as delivered by the carrier, lost or stolen package claims becomes the buyer's responsibility to file.

If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you did not receive it, please check with your household members, neighbors, or your local post office/carrier for further assistance.

I will try my best to combine orders if they are placed within a relatively close timeframe, but cannot guarantee. If I do combine, I will refund extra shipping on subsequent order(s).

Please note that in order to keep shipping costs affordable for international customers, orders are shipped using a consolidator service via USPS and can be a bit slower. If you would like faster shipping options, please message me for other options.
