February Already?! + What’s Coming Next 🤍
January somehow managed to both crawl and fly by at the same time (so much that I forgot to make a blog post, oops). It’s been a busy month behind the scenes - lots of sampling, prepping, organizing, and getting things lined up for an exciting year ahead. I hope everyone is off to a wonderful start to the new year, whether that’s discovering new scents, revisiting old favorites, or simply easing back into routine.
On a personal note, I fractured my foot last week and have been adjusting to my new (very un-glamorous) footwear situation for the new few weeks. 😅 While I’m (somewhat) mobile, things may move just a touch slower as I get settled. I’ve recruited some additional help to keep orders flowing, and I truly appreciate your patience and grace if a package ships a day or two later than originally expected.
New Brands on the Horizon ✨
I’m beyond excited to share that I’ll be partnering with Pierrot Perfumery and Arcana Wildcraft - two incredibly talented brands I’m so excited to welcome into the Sucrerie lineup. Their artistry and creativity are a perfect fit, and I can’t wait to introduce their fragrances to you. As with all brands, I will be stocking their entire catalog.
Product listings for both brands will be rolling out throughout this month, so keep an eye on the site. If you’d like to be the first to know when they go live, I highly recommend signing up for email notifications - you’ll get updates as soon as new scents are in stock.
A Little Housekeeping 🧺
As Sucrerie continues to grow, I’m making a few changes to help streamline offerings and keep the focus on sampling where it belongs. Starting this month, I’ll be phasing out 3ml and 5ml sizes across the board. Most fragrance houses already consider 5ml to be a full-size product, and my goal has always been to offer true samples that allow you to explore more scents without committing to larger bottles (please support the brands by ordering larger sizes directly through them!). This change will help simplify supplies inventory and keep Sucrerie aligned with that mission.
I also changed the menu on Mobile view so that it's more user-friendly. Apologies for not catching it previously that navigation was rather clunky.
Also, if you start to see crazy high costs on product listings, it may be the currency setting. Shopify is supposed to recognize the region that you are visiting from to automatically choose the right currency for you, but it doesn't seem to always do that correctly. So if you see a 1ml sample for $25, then the site is not set to the correct currency and should be updated (you can check on the bottom left hand side of the site).

As always, thank you for being here, for supporting small businesses, and for making Sucrerie such a joy to run. Here’s to a cozy, fragrant February ahead.
